SPIRITUAL GROUNDEDNESS IN SPITE OF SHAKY GROUND

by Ade Anifowose, Lightworker

So much is happening at this moment in time: earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, people rebelling against their political leaders – nationally and internationally. Relationships are being challenged; we are all having to rethink what is valuable. People are waking up (spiritually), some are waking up as a response to the inner call and others are waking up due to stimuli from the external world. Nonetheless, they are waking up. Asking questions like, "Why am I here?" "Is the world coming to an end?" The natural disasters are certainly waking all of us up, on some level. The ground we are standing on is shaking. People are looking for something to grab on to.

In spite of the shaky ground, you can still stand on solid ground. How solid your ground is will be determined by your daily spiritual practice. Your spiritual practice helps you "see" differently and strengthens your ground.

There is a saying, "as within, so without." The shaky ground is a reflection of an inner transformation within mother earth and within each one of us. This is not the time to worry or live in anxiety. It is a time of transformation – the stripping out of the old – the old way of living, the fallacy of perfection as we evolve into a place of Authenticity.

If there is a question we all need to ask ourselves right now, it is, "Is the way I am living my life in alignment with my authentic self, with my Soul's purpose? Said a different way, "Am I being true to myself, or am I simply struggling to be perfect?"

If the answer is "No", obviously you know you have work to do. If the answer is, "Well, sometimes." You have work to do. We are all here for God and God only. Your mission is to release your inner splendor – to fully express your authentic self.

Every challenge you are going through, leads back to one idea – Being authentic. In the book, The Sacred Yes! by Rev. Deborah Johnson, there is a quote: "The struggle for freedom is really just the demand to be authentic."

The more courageous you are in expressing your authentic self, the more solid your ground becomes. You develop a sense of holy boldness, with a sense of groundedness that sustains any shaky situations. This is an individual and collective process. Humanity needs to focus more on developing an "interdependent consciousness." No more "me" consciousness. By locking arms energetically and spiritually, humanity has a better chance of weathering the shaky ground. Remember, we are as strong as the weakest link. Let us all "Come together and Unite" in order to create a "CommUnity" of love, harmony, joy, abundance.

We are already standing on holy ground. Do you FEEL it?
